The agency

A project is constantly in motion: construction, renovation, transformation, demolition... It only stops evolving when you stop believing in it. Aware of this fact, Betic adopts an innovative approach, often on the bangs of conventional technical solutions.

Preferring the "how" to the "why", the office's aim is to produce a project that is adapted to needs, to unite the project management team and to delight the user.

Betic is above all a team that shares a set of values:

  • innovation at the customer's service: a no-holds-barred approach in which every constraint is seen as an opportunity to innovate,
  • uniqueness: each project is unique and must be treated as such.
  • finality: a completed project is one in which the end-user has taken full possession of the building, without holding back.

The office supports its customers in all aspects of TECHNICAL ENGINEERING (HVAC “heating, ventilation, air conditioning, sanitary installations, electricity, regulation, etc.) and ADVANCED ENGINEERING (sustainable design, acoustics and vibration, fire safety, façade expertise, Commodo-Incommodo, certifications, etc.).

Two strategic turning points have marked the life of the company. The first in 2020, when the office joined the Group VK architects+engineers, strengthening its expertise in its core business and enabling it to offer complementary expertise to its customers.

The second in 2023, when the Group Sweco Group, Europe's largest engineering consultancy, acquired VK architects+engineers. As an integral part of the Sweco Group, Betic Engineering now boasts an international team of experts in addition to its local team, enabling it to further consolidate its position in the Luxembourg market by offering its customers an ever more advanced service.

MISSIONS and activities

As an engineering consultancy, Betic provides design, monitoring and acceptance of all building technical installations.

During the design phase, the team carries out thermal and electrical simulations to help the client and other parties make the right choices.

During the authorization phase, the team prepares the necessary applications and studies for environmental certification.

During the construction phase, our engineers support the installation companies, ensuring that the work carried out meets the client's expectations.

Once the work has been completed, the office devotes the time and energy required to support future users in the appropriation of their new living or working space. It also analyzes and optimizes the building's key parameters to ensure that comfort and energy consumption criteria are constantly being improved.
